"When you partner with Orphan's Lifeline to care for the orphan children of the world, you are able to do so, knowing that your generous contributions are being used to help children, not fund a fraudulent activity in a foreign country"
Orphans Lifeline of Hope International, has adopted very strict guidelines for initial due diligence and ongoing assessment and reporting for and from the proposed or operating children's homes. The initial due diligence policies that we utilize, provide security for our donor/partners in the sense that they can rest assured that the home they are sponsoring in part, or in whole, is a home that has successfully passed an in-depth and complete initial assessment process.
Our ongoing assessment and reporting requirements provide security for the children in the home as well as the donor/partner that is providing support through Orphan's Lifeline. These procedures and required reporting policies provide information that is used to report back to the donor/partners, manage the home's budget, make necessary financial or other program changes, all in protection of the rights and needs of the children in the home and the donor/partner(s).
When you partner with Orphan's Lifeline to care for the orphan children of the world, you are able to do so, knowing that your generous contributions are being used to help children, not fund a fraudulent activity in a foreign country. This is important for two reasons. Every dollar that goes to fraudulent activity instead of the charitible cause to which it was intended, is a dollar lost that could have been used for a worthy cause. In addition, every dollar lost, erodes the confidence of the giving public. At Orphan's Lifeline, we believe we owe it to the public and the children to maintain policies that protect them both and inspire confidence and trust.
