BMS Children's Home

Number of Children: 20-25

Ages of Children: 4-15

Location: Raiwind, Pakistan

History: BMS Children's Home was established in 2004 by a Christian man who saw that ll orphan children in Pakistan were growing up alone and illiterate. They had no means to receive an education an non one from the community was helping them. These children were all orphaned by the death of their parents or they had been abandoned by their parents because they were unable to support them. The children all lived in the streets or came form slave labor camps and were very thin, malnourished and in desperate need of medical care. Orphan's Lifeline started to sponsor the home right after it began in 2004. The director care greatly for all of these children and is taking a considerable risk by operating this home in an area that sees persecution agains Christians in a country that is over 90% Muslim. This is also why it is very important to hime an to all of us here at Orphan's Lifeline that each of these children receive a Christian education and that they all have their own Bible in their own language.

Highlights:

These children were all taken from the street and given the care and love that they deserve. There is a school on the property where all of the children attend and learn about Christ. We have space to take in more orphan children as we receive additional donors to join with us.

Praise be to the Lord for the pure work we are doing here. God has given us the vision that we may support the orphans through education. Our hearts are grateful to God we have been appointed for transforming the lives of the orphan souls. We are hopeful that education and instruction will make their lives fruitful with the passage of time. Endeavors of our school staff are appreciated because they are lighting the candle of knowledge with a great devotion.
