Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in
you will perfom it until the day of Jesus Christ

For the past 25 years, Orphan’s Lifeline has been providing fatherless children with Food, Clothing, Shelter, Medical Needs, Education, Mentoring and Nurturing, God’s Word, Spiritual Instruction, Love, Care and Hope!

Thank You For Helping Us Reach This Milestone!

“...Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and they immediately regained their sight and followed Him.”

Matthew 20:34

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14

THIS IS WHAT ORPHAN SUNDAY IS ALL ABOUT

A woman wearing a red hoodie and gloves kneels on the grass, attending to three children sitting in a row. The children appear to have mud or dirt on their clothing and are outdoors in front of a mud building. The woman is checking or caring for the children's hands or feet.

Intervention

The gifts given on Orphan Sunday allow us to maintain funding to intervene at critical points in the lives of fatherless children when their lives are in danger. Within 2 weeks of learning of the plight of this family, we were able to provide emergency assistance to care for their medical needs, assess how we could best help and provide for this family and initiate our programs to forever change their lives. In the picture above you see the children’s feet and fingers being treated to rid them of the jigger infestation and begin the healing process. In the background you can see the doorless, filthy, mud shack they have been living in.

Five children standing outdoors in front of a metal building and trees, smiling at the camera.

Transformation

Lives are transformed after we intervene and provide critical care. Just two weeks after we learned of this family’s situation and their living conditions, their new home was in it’s final stages of construction. This is just one of 17 such modest homes we have built in the last 2 years. Orphan Sunday allows us to react quickly when the situation is dire!

Three young boys sit on a bed, smiling and looking happy. The boy on the left is wearing a blue patterned jacket and pants with red and yellow details. The boy in the middle is wearing a red T-shirt with the word 'YEAH' on it and black pants. The boy on the right is wearing a beige sweater with an animal pattern and black pants. They are indoors in a room with a plain wall and a bed with a colorful mattress.

Security and Freedom From Fear

Finally home. Yes, these are the same children, 1 month later, sitting on the edge of their new bed in their new home. With new clothes, new shoes and hope-filled smiles. THIS IS WHY.

WE WILL BE RESCUING MORE FAMILES JUST LIKE THIS ONE.

Orphan Sunday is the Engine for all of our ongoing programs and allows us to grow and move forward with new and exciting programs while also providing emergency and on-going care.
